Front coil springs and steering geometry
Front coil springs set ride height at the front axle and affect how the steering and brakes sit at the new height. A higher front end changes caster and camber, and it can also change how the brake lines and steering linkage move through their range. Those changes are the reason an alignment usually follows a front lift.
Shocks, bump stops and sway bar links often need attention alongside front coils, because the suspension operates at a new length. Check that the shock lengths allow full travel and that the bump stops do not bottom out too early. Inspect the coil seats and the upper and lower mounts after the first drives, and look for signs of sag, rust or chafing against the spring pocket. Lifted front ends also make tire rub more likely, so test steering lock before heavy use.
