Overview
The TeraFlex 1323000 is a 3-inch Alpine CT3 suspension system for the 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler (JK) Unlimited 4-door, in the 70th Anniversary, 75th Anniversary, Rubicon, Sahara, Sport, Sport S and X trims. It steps up from the Sport S and Sport T systems with a complete set of bolt-on, fully adjustable Alpine flexarms for suspension adjustability on and off the road.
The flexarms adjust pinion and caster angles, anti-squat geometry and tire position, which helps set the front and rear roll centers. They use maintenance-free bushings, and the heavy-duty adjustable front track bar and rear track bar bracket limit side-to-side movement. The system allows full suspension articulation, with a comfortable ride on pavement and less brake dive and squat under acceleration. Shocks are not part of the kit. Falcon shock absorbers are the matched choice, designed with the coil springs to improve compression and rebound.
Key features
- Bolt-on, fully adjustable Alpine flexarms
- Tunable pinion and caster angles and anti-squat geometry
- Maintenance-free flexarm bushings
- Heavy-duty adjustable front track bar
- Rear track bar bracket that limits side-to-side movement
Choosing shocks and flexarm care
A long-travel suspension changes how the shocks work, so the shock choice matters as much as the arms. Shocks control how quickly the springs compress and rebound, and a matched set helps the coil springs and arms work together over rough ground. Look for shocks with the correct length for the raised height, since short shocks can limit articulation.
Maintenance-free bushings still need periodic inspection. Check the flexarm ends for cracks, torn boots and play during tire rotations, and check the track bar bracket for loose hardware. Any change to flexarm settings should be followed by an alignment check, because caster and pinion angles directly affect steering and tire wear.
- Confirm shock length for the raised ride height
- Inspect flexarm ends and boots at tire rotations
- Recheck bracket bolts after the first trail outings
- Re-align after changing any flexarm setting
