Overview
The Rubicon Express RE6026 is a 3.5-inch Super-Ride suspension lift kit for the 1984–2001 Jeep Cherokee (XJ). The kit raises the ride height and is aimed at owners who want a more aggressive look and better trail performance while keeping factory-like on-road handling.
The kit’s replacement Super-Ride lower control arms are meant to replace the weak factory control arms, and Rubicon Express says they do this without adding road noise or vibration. Leaf springs are included.

Driving with a lift
A 3.5-inch lift raises the body and changes suspension geometry, so the tire can reach the fender sooner at full articulation. Check wheel and tire fitment after the lift, and confirm clearance at the front and rear wheel wells before moving to a larger tire. Lift height and tire size work together, so a taller tire usually needs more attention to rubbing and gearing.
Shock length and travel are often the first things to revisit after a lift. Shocks sized for stock height may be too short or may limit travel, so buy shocks for the new ride height. Brake lines, sway bar links and steering linkage should be inspected too, because a lift increases the angles these parts work through. Retorque all hardware after the first few trail runs.

Vehicle fitment
The kit fits the 1984–2001 Jeep Cherokee (XJ).
It is not for the Wrangler, the Grand Cherokee (ZJ or WJ) or the Liberty (KJ). Confirm your vehicle’s year, model and trim before ordering.
Installation notes
A 3.5-inch lift changes alignment and driveline angles, so check the driveline and align the front end after the kit is installed. Because shocks are not included, plan on shocks sized for the new ride height.
