Overview
The Omix-ADA 16521.03 is an inner pinion seal for the front position of the Dana Super 30 differential. It fits 1999 to 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee (WJ) models.
It is a direct OE replacement that keeps gear lube inside the differential, and it fits Laredo and Limited trims.

Inner and outer pinion seals
The inner pinion seal sits on the side of the differential nearest the drive shaft, where it keeps lubricant inside the housing. The outer seal is on the other side and handles the pinion yoke area. Because the two seals do different jobs, it helps to confirm which one is being replaced before any part is ordered or fitted, and to note the seal’s orientation on the old part.
Seals wear from age, heat and contamination, so a leak at the inner side often means the seal lip is worn or the bore has a groove. The seal should be pressed in square and driven to the correct depth. Once installed, check the fluid level and watch for leaks on a short test drive before returning the vehicle to regular use.
