Choosing a driveshaft U-joint
A U-joint takes the angle change between the transmission or transfer case and the axle, and it spins through every rotation of the driveshaft. Because this kit is not lubeable, the joint is sealed for life and wear shows up as play, clicking or vibration rather than being fixed by grease. Replacing the joint is the usual remedy once play is clear at the yoke.
