Overview
The Baja Designs 640119 is a complete wire harness for XL LED light bars, including XL/OnX6 Hi-Power models with Mode-2 lights rated at a maximum of 325 watts. The harness is designed to make installation simpler. It is universal fit, so it is matched to the light bars rather than to a vehicle.
The harness is suited for race use and includes dust and strobe modes.

Planning the light set
A harness is only as good as the load plan behind it. Add up the draw of every light you intend to run, and keep the total under the rated maximum for the Mode-2 lights. Use a fuse and relay matched to the wiring, and keep the positive feed short. Mode changes such as dust or strobe are easier to live with when the switch is placed where you can reach it while driving.
Race-style use puts extra strain on connectors and cable routing, since vibration and water spray can loosen joints. Use weatherproof connectors where wires leave the cab, and secure the harness so it does not swing into moving parts. Periodically check that the grounds are clean and tight, because a poor ground often causes flicker that looks like a light fault.
