Overview

Wiring a dual light kit
A dual light harness carries the current of two lights, so the relay and fuse do most of the protection work. Route the feed from the battery through the fuse and relay, and let the switch trigger the relay coil. Mount the switch where it can be reached without looking, and keep the cable runs short and clear of heat and moving parts.
Check the harness connections and the fuse holder periodically, especially after rough or wet trips. Replace a blown fuse with one of the same rating, and do not bypass the relay. Keep the light connectors sealed against water and dust, and retighten any mounts that have loosened from vibration.
