Overview
The Baer Brakes 6910223 is a 1-piece, plain-finish replacement brake rotor built for the left side of select Baer Brake systems. Its cast iron disc has a 14.000 inch outside diameter and a 1.181 inch nominal thickness, and the rotor is vented with a directional brake surface.
Rotors are sold one at a time, so a matching right-side rotor is a separate purchase. The castings are purpose built from premium materials, with a curved vane design and dynamic balancing to help keep the rotor stable and resistant to distortion. Confirm compatibility for your vehicle before fitting.

Bedding in new rotors
New rotors and pads need a short bedding-in period before they perform evenly. Make a series of moderate stops from a moderate speed, then let the brakes cool fully. Avoid holding the pedal down while the brakes are hot, since that can leave uneven deposits on the surface.
A plain friction surface has no slots to clear water or debris, so it relies on clean contact with the pads. Keep the surface free of oil and grease during installation. Plain surfaces are a common choice for street driving, and they pair well with pads chosen for smooth, quiet braking.

Installation notes
Because the rotor is directional, the left and right parts are not interchangeable, so keep track of the side during removal. The ABS tone ring is not part of this rotor. Brakes are safety-critical, so test them in a safe area before normal driving.
