Setting up the front end
Upper control arms and torsion keys work together to set the front ride height, so the adjustment is done in steps. Set each side to match before measuring the final stance, and avoid large differences between sides, since uneven height can pull the truck during braking.
Lift blocks at the rear change the pinion angle, which affects vibration and wear in the driveline. Inspect U-bolts and the axle housing after the first trips, and listen for vibration at highway speeds. Shock travel also changes, so check the bump stops and shock mounts for clearance. Keep a record of the measurements taken before and after the install, which makes future adjustments easier.
