Overview
The Rubicon Express RE7121 is a 2.5-inch standard coil lift kit for the Jeep JK Wrangler, sold without shocks. It was first offered for the 07-12 Jeep JK Wrangler and fits the 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler (JK). The kit replaces the front and rear coil springs. The kit replaces the front and rear coil springs and adds front alignment washers for caster adjustment, a rear track bar bracket, bump stops and extended sway bar end links. Installation does not require changing driveshafts, modifying the exhaust or altering the brake lines. The lift adds ground clearance and extended wheel travel. It covers a 2.5-inch lift range.

Shocks and tire clearance
Because this kit ships without shocks, the shocks already on the vehicle will shape how the new height rides. New coil springs can change the ride, and older shocks may feel soft or be worn beyond their useful life. Shocks sized for a 2.5-inch lift are a sensible match, and many owners replace them when the springs go in so both parts age together.
Bigger tires add load to steering and axle parts. Check the tie rods, ball joints and wheel bearings before running 35-inch tires, and recheck clearance at full steering lock and suspension travel. Rubbing often shows up first at the front inner fender, so look there after the first drive.

Installation notes
