Overview
The Pro Comp 40 Series Vertigo 20×9 wheel, part number PXA2640-293652, is a 20-inch aluminum split spoke wheel with a 9-inch width. It has a 6 on 135 bolt pattern and a gray matte graphite finish, named in the series as 40 Series Vertigo matte graphite.
This version is the positive-offset member of the 20×9 Vertigo line: its offset is 6 and its backspacing is 5.25, so the mounting face sits inward compared with the -12 offset wheels in the Vertigo range. The wheel is low-pressure cast and universal fit, with no vehicle tied to it.
Key features
- Low-pressure cast aluminum
- 20-inch diameter and 9-inch width
- 6 on 135 bolt pattern
- Center bore 87
- Offset 6 with backspacing 5.25
- Matte graphite split spoke finish
Inner clearance and suspension
A positive offset places the wheel further into the fender, which moves the inner clearance closer to suspension parts, brake lines and the inner edge of the tire. Check those areas after mounting and with the suspension at full travel. The sidewall and the inner liner can also rub when the tire is wider than the original.
Steering and suspension wear can change the way the wheel sits on the hub. Worn ball joints, tie rod ends or a loose wheel bearing should be inspected before a new wheel is fitted, since play can cause rubbing that looks like a fit problem. Keep the mounting surface clean and tighten the lug nuts in a star pattern.
- Check inner clearance with the suspension compressed
- Inspect ball joints and tie rod ends for play
- Clean the hub face before mounting

Vehicle fitment
No vehicle is named for this wheel, and the fitment is universal. Match the 6 on 135 hub and 87 center bore first, then confirm that the positive 6 offset and 5.25 backspacing clear the brake caliper.
Confirm your vehicle’s year, model and trim before ordering.
Installation notes
Positive offset places the wheel further inside the fender than negative offset, which can affect the inner clearance to suspension parts. Check that area with the wheel mounted.
What’s included
The package is one 20×9 wheel in gray matte graphite. Check that you have the center caps and lug nuts your installation needs before starting.
