Overview
The Bilstein BIL22-280886 is a front left (driver side) B6 Series strut for 2015 to 2017 Jeep Renegade AWD models. It fits the 75th Anniversary, Dawn of Justice, Latitude, Limited, Sport and Trailhawk trims.

Checking the driver side
On a compact SUV, the front struts control body motion over bumps and during cornering, and they help keep the tires in steady contact with the road. When a driver side strut wears, the vehicle can wander, feel floaty at speed, or cup the front tires on one edge. Because struts are side-specific, a worn left unit is replaced by itself, but checking the opposite side for similar wear is a good habit.
Before installation, confirm the strut goes on the correct corner by reading the position marking and comparing the top mount with the old unit. Keep the factory springs seated correctly, since the spring and strut work together as one assembly. After the strut is in, have the front alignment checked, and re-check mounting nut torque after the first few drives.
