Overview
The Skyjacker J34RS is a rear Softride leaf spring for lifted Jeep CJ5 and CJ6 vehicles, sold individually. Skyjacker lists it for the 1959–1960 and 1966–1975 Jeep CJ5 and CJ6 and the 1955–1958 Willys CJ-5 and CJ-6, and states it is intended for use with 3.5-4 inch lifted springs.
Each spring is made from American steel, and every leaf is shot-peened with hardened steel pellets at high velocity. Skyjacker explains that shot peening compresses the surface of the steel and raises its tensile strength, which allows greater wheel travel and better ride quality without shortening the spring’s life. It is listed as a direct fit for the rear position.

Installation notes
The specifications list rubber bushings as included, but the product note says bushings are not included. Check what came in the box before assembly, and have a bushing set ready if none came with the spring.
Replacing a leaf spring means lifting and supporting the rear axle, so use jack stands and proper tools, and never work under a vehicle held only by a jack.
What’s included
One rear leaf spring, sold as a single spring.
Not included: Bushings, according to the product note. The specifications say rubber bushings are included, so confirm before assembly.
