Overview
The Rugged Ridge standard front bucket seat in black (part number 13401.01) is a vinyl replacement seat for earlier Jeep restoration projects. Rugged Ridge says 1997 to 2002 TJ Wranglers require seat adapters RUG13201.11 and RUG13201.12 to use it.

Planning a bucket seat swap
A bucket seat changes more than the look of the front cabin. Seat height, seat belt routing and the position of the shifter and console all affect how comfortable the driver sits. Before removing the old seats, sit in a similar setup if you can, and note how far the seat travels on its rails. This helps avoid surprises once the new seat is bolted in.
On an older TJ, the seat adapters do much of the work of matching the new seat to the factory mounts.
