Overview
The Rancho RS44192 is a 2.5 inch rear leaf spring for the Jeep CJ5, CJ7 and Scrambler. Rancho lists it as a single spring, with 2 required per vehicle.
A leaf spring stacks flat steel leaves to carry axle load and locate the axle under the body. Rancho says this spring is preset to reduce settling, has leaf ends trimmed to reduce friction and improve stress distribution, and has individual leaves shot-peened to reduce stress and improve fatigue life.
Rubber bushings are included, and Rancho covers the spring with its limited lifetime warranty. Rancho lists a lift height range of 0 to 4.99 inches, and this spring provides a 2.5 inch lift at the rear.

Installation notes
Two springs are required, so replace the rear springs as a pair. A 2.5 inch lift changes ride height and driveline angles, so check the driveline angles and have the alignment checked after installation. Support the vehicle securely on stands while the springs are removed.
What’s included
One rear leaf spring with rubber bushings, as listed by Rancho.
Not included: the second rear spring, which is needed to complete the pair.
