Overview
The Poison Spyder 45-28-R50 is a bare steel A-pillar mount that holds a 50-inch Rigid Industries E-Series or SR-Series LED light bar over the windshield of the Jeep Wrangler JK. It is for 2-door and 4-door JK models.
The mount is CNC laser cut from 3/16-inch thick plate, brake-formed and finish welded. Its contoured, gusseted design supports a 50-inch light bar on the highway and on rough terrain. It attaches to the A-pillar.
Installation uses the existing lower windshield bracket bolts, so the mount is attached without new drilling to the windshield bracket. Rubber liners are provided to protect the Jeep’s paint under the mounts. The mount is shipped as bare steel and is ready for paint or powder coat in the color the owner chooses.

Mounting and weight
A large light bar adds weight high on the windshield frame, so the mount’s attachment and the condition of the factory bracket matter. Inspect the bracket for rust or cracks before fitting the mount, and make sure the lower bolts seat fully. Tighten the bolts evenly so the load is shared across both sides.
Because the mount ships bare, paint or powder coat should be applied before the light bar goes on. Bare steel left unprotected can rust at the welds. After finishing, fit the rubber liners so they sit between the mount and the paint, which protects the Jeep’s finish where the mount touches it.
