Overview
The Baer Brakes Extreme front brake system, part number 7301175R, pairs a 6-piston, 6T Callaway branded caliper with a 15 inch, one-piece slotted and zinc-plated rotor. Fixed calipers and wheel clearance
Fixed multi-piston calipers clamp the pads from both sides with several pistons, which spreads pressure evenly across the pad. Because the caliper does not slide, it relies on its pistons, seals and bracket bolts to stay in position. Staggered pistons help even pad wear, but the pads still need inspection at every service, and the rotor face should be checked for scoring and heat marks.
A larger rotor and caliper change how the hub and wheel clearance work, so check the setup before the job starts. Confirm the rotor sits flush on the hub, the caliper clears the wheel barrel, and the brake lines reach the caliper without strain. Brake fluid absorbs moisture over time, so fresh fluid at the correct level is part of keeping a multi-piston system consistent.

Vehicle fitment
It fits 2021-2026 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV, 2021-2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Suburban and Tahoe, and 2021-2026 GMC Sierra 1500, Yukon and Yukon XL. Wheel fit depends on the wheel style, so compare the system with the N070U template against the wheel you plan to run.
It does not fit model years before 2021 or heavy-duty 2500 or 3500 trucks. Confirm fit for your vehicle’s year, model and trim before ordering.
Installation notes
Brake hoses are not included and must be sourced separately to match this caliper. Because Baer does not guarantee wheel fit, confirm clearance with the template before the caliper and rotor go on. Brake work should be handled by someone experienced with fixed multi-piston calipers.
