Choosing a Wrangler lift
A lift on a Wrangler changes the angle of the control arms and track bar, so the steering and handling can feel different from stock. Fender clearance improves when the body rises, but tire size and wheel offset still decide whether the tires rub at full lock.
Many owners replace the track bar, shocks and brake lines at the same time as the lift, since the longer geometry puts more load on those parts. Inspect the steering linkage and tie rod ends at every oil change for play or looseness.
Off-road use places extra stress on suspension bushings and bolts, so periodic checks matter more than the first install. Look for torn boots, leaking shocks or uneven tire wear as signs that something needs attention.

Vehicle fitment
It is a direct fit for the 2004–2006 Jeep Wrangler (LJ) Unlimited and Unlimited Rubicon, and for the 1997–2006 Jeep Wrangler (TJ) 65th Anniversary, Rubicon, SE, Sahara, Sport and X models.
The 2007 and newer JK Wrangler and the 2018 and newer JL are not on this list, and neither are the 2-door LJ models. Confirm your vehicle’s year, model and trim before ordering.
Installation notes
A lift on an older Wrangler usually calls for a check of the track bar and steering linkage. Have the alignment set once the kit is installed.
