Overview
The Tuff Country 22909 is a 2-inch front leveling lift kit for the 2009–2018 Ford F-150. It raises the front of the truck to match the rear, which allows slightly larger tires and removes the factory nose-down rake.

Front struts and F-150 ride
Strut spacers raise the front by adding length at the upper strut mount, so the coil spring and shock move with the new height. On a pickup, that changes the load path through the front end, and the bump stops and shock travel should be checked after installation. A front-only lift is most often chosen to level the stance or allow slightly larger tires.
Any change to the front struts affects steering geometry, so alignment should follow the install. Look at the strut mounts, brake lines and sway bar links while the truck is up. Over time, inspect the spacer hardware and the mount bolts, since loose fasteners are the most common cause of noise after a lift.
