Fitting and upkeep
Soft door pulls like nylon webbing wear differently from hard handles. Webbing can fray where it bends or where hands rub it, and sun and road grime can dull the color over time. Rinse it with fresh water and check the stitching or attachment points every few months.
The straps mount to the factory points, so the fit depends on the old handle’s condition. Check the factory bracket for cracks or bent tabs before mounting. Tighten the fasteners evenly and make sure the strap sits flat so it does not catch on clothing or gear. Pulling on the strap during a recovery can stress the mounting points, so test each one before relying on it.
