Overview
The Pro Comp 62203 is a 3 inch rear lift block kit with U-bolts, part number 62203, for achieving rear lift on a leaf spring equipped vehicle. Pro Comp Suspension designed the blocks as tapered lift blocks to help retain the vehicle’s driveshaft angles.
It is sold as a direct fit kit for leaf spring rear suspensions.
Key features
- Tapered lift blocks
- Helps retain driveshaft angles
- U-bolt kit included
- Rear lift for leaf spring vehicles
Choosing the right setup
A rear block lift raises the axle on a leaf spring suspension, and the tapered design is meant to keep the driveshaft angles workable. Before buying, match the block height to the lift you want and confirm that the leaf spring pack and axle housing on your truck are the type the kit is built for.
Rear lift blocks often go with related parts. Longer brake lines are commonly needed because the hoses stretch as the axle moves away from the frame. Shock length should also be checked, since a higher rear changes the shock’s range of travel. Adding these parts at the same time avoids a rushed install.
Inspect the U-bolts and blocks after the first few drives. Look for thread stretch, rust at the bends and any movement of the axle in its mounts. Retighten the hardware as the install instructions call for, and recheck it after the first off-road trip.
- Check brake hose length after the axle moves
- Look at shock length for the new ride height
- Inspect U-bolts for stretch or rust
- Check driveshaft angles after the first drives

Installation notes
Lift blocks change the driveline and pinion angles at the rear axle, so check the driveshaft angle after the blocks and U-bolts are installed. Pro Comp designed the tapered blocks to help retain those angles.
