Overview
The Omix-ADA 17101.01 is a replacement two-core radiator for the 134 4 cylinder engine with manual transmission. It fits the 1946–1949 Jeep Willys CJ-2 and the 1941–1942 Willys MB (Base).
Replacing an aging radiator before it leaks is a practical step. Doing it on your own schedule is easier than dealing with a roadside or trail breakdown later.

Before you install
A radiator does more than hold coolant. It moves heat away from the engine so it can run at a steady temperature, and a shroud helps direct airflow through the core when the vehicle is idling or moving slowly. On older flat-fendered Jeeps the radiator sits in front of the engine with limited clearance, so the fit of the core, shroud and mounting points matters as much as the core itself.
Before fitting a new radiator, drain the old coolant into a suitable container and inspect the hoses, clamps and radiator mounts. Hoses that feel hard, swollen or cracked are often replaced at the same time, since a new radiator will not solve a failing hose. Check the fan and fan shroud for cracks and loose fasteners as well, then flush the system before refilling it with fresh coolant.
