Setting up a single clamp mount
A single clamp mount relies on one clamp around the tube, so the fit and tightness of that clamp carry all the load. Seat the mount square to the bar and tighten the fasteners evenly so it does not twist. Look at the tube surface under the clamp for flat spots or rust that could let it slip.
Vibration can loosen fasteners over time, so check the mount after each trail session or event. Replace clamps that have stretched or cracked, and keep the brushed finish clean so grit does not wear the bracket surface.
