Why isolator pads matter
A radiator sits in the engine bay where it sees constant vibration, road shock and repeated heating and cooling. An isolator pad absorbs some of that movement so the core does not rub against the mounting points or crack its tanks. Over time the rubber can flatten, harden or split, which lets the radiator shift.
