Overview
The California Super Trucks CSS-C5-7 is a dual front shock bracket kit from the CST Performance Suspension Dirt Series. It is designed for the 2011-2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD and 3500 and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500 trucks, and it fits both 2WD and 4×4 models.

Dual shock setup on heavy-duty trucks
Heavy-duty trucks put higher loads on front shocks, especially when towing or running with a loaded bed. A dual shock setup spreads that load across two mounting points, which helps keep the upper and lower brackets from flexing under repeated impacts. Before assembly, confirm that both shocks clear the steering components and the frame at full lock and full droop.
Reservoir shocks add a separate body that must be aligned with the clamp so the hose and fittings do not rub. After installation, check for fluid leaks around the reservoir, look for wear on the clamp bolts and confirm the hose has room to move through the full travel range.
