Aiming a spot bar
A spot pattern concentrates light into a tighter column, which reaches far down the trail but leaves the edges of the path darker. That makes aim the main setup step. Mount the bar level, then aim the hot spot ahead of the vehicle at the height where the trail surface sits, not up into the trees or across the hood.
