Overview
SealSavers’ SSCOIL3.0 is the larger of the two Coil Savers, sized for the 2.5 to 3.0 coil range. The sleeve protects a coil spring from wear and rubbing, and it is made to be fitted without taking the shocks off.
The set includes two pieces in black. The smaller 2.0 to 2.5 size is a separate product, part number SSCOIL2.5, so the coil measurement decides which one you need.
Key features
- Covers the 2.5 to 3.0 coil size range
- Quick, easy installation
- No need to remove the shocks
- Black, two pieces per set
Choosing the right coil range
Coil savers are sized by coil range, so the first step is confirming the coil’s measured size. A 2.5 to 3.0 sleeve will not seat correctly on a smaller coil, and the 2.0 to 2.5 size will not cover a larger one. Measure at the coil itself, not the spring’s free length, and compare the result with the size range before ordering.
Suspension modifications change coil dimensions and working height. Lifting a vehicle or fitting different springs can move the contact points, so a sleeve that fit before may need re-checking. Where a spring shows bare metal, cracks, or dust packed between the coils, clean the area and inspect the spring. A saver guards against rubbing but does not restore a worn spring.
- Measure the coil at the contact area
- Re-check fit after any lift or spring change
- Inspect for bare metal and cracks

Vehicle fitment
Choose this part by the 2.5 to 3.0 coil range, since no year, model or chassis applies to a coil saver.
Confirm your vehicle’s year, model and trim before ordering. Compare the coil size with the 2.0 to 2.5 part before deciding.
Installation notes
Fitting happens with the shocks left attached, so the sleeves go on around the springs without the shocks coming off.
