Overview
The Power Stop KC2020 is a front 1-Click caliper kit made up of drilled and slotted vented rotors, red powder coated calipers and Z23 carbon fiber and ceramic pads.
Power Stop packages this kit so a front brake refresh needs only one part number. The line is built around cross-drilled and slotted rotors, red calipers and Evolution Sport pads.
The calipers are remanufactured, lubricated and pressure tested at Power Stop’s Chicago, IL facility. The pads are designed for firm bite with less noise and dust than many other brands. The kit is a direct fit for the front axle.
The calipers are finished in red, which stays visible through open wheels, and the kit pairs them with drilled and slotted rotors. KC2020 covers the front axle only. Before ordering, confirm the year, model and brake package against your vehicle, and do not assume fit from similar kits.

Rotor design and heat
Slots and holes in a rotor serve different jobs. Slots sweep away pad dust and help the friction surface stay clean, while drilled holes give gas and water somewhere to escape. Vented rotors add an internal airflow passage between the two faces, which helps carry heat away during repeated stops. None of these features replaces good pad material, so the rotor and pad pair should be chosen together.
Street driving rarely puts enough heat into a front rotor to show a difference, but hard braking on grades or frequent stops can. Inspect the rotors for hairline cracks around the holes at each brake job, and look for uneven wear or a pulsing pedal. A rotor that is thin or cracked should be replaced rather than resurfaced.

Installation notes
Rotors, calipers and pads are replaced together. After the calipers go on, bleed the front brakes and check the pedal before driving.
