Key features
- Heavy-duty, water-resistant cover
- Keeps the top clean and protected
- Works on factory or most aftermarket tops
- Two-piece hardtop type
- Includes storage duffle and tool caddy
Storing a hardtop at home
A two-piece hardtop is heavy and bulky, so storage should keep it stable and protected from weather. Set the top on a level, clean surface with padding under the frame, and keep the cover on to shield the glass and seals from dust. Avoid stacking heavy items on top, since pressure can deform panels or stress hinges.
The storage duffle and tool caddy help keep small parts together, which reduces the chance of losing fasteners. Label the bags for each hardtop section and store the caddy within reach so setup stays quick. Inspect seals and clips for cracks each season, and clean the top with mild soap before long storage to keep grime from setting into the finish. Keep the storage space dry and ventilated to limit mildew.
