Overview
The Bestop RoughRider Spare Tire Organizer, part number 54134-35, is a black fabric storage organizer for the spare tire on Jeep Wrangler models. It is designed for tires from 34 to 37 inches in size and is made from Bestop diamond-point fabric, designed to match the top of the Jeep.
The organizer stores gear outside the vehicle, so the cabin space stays open for passengers and cargo. The manufacturer fitment list covers several Wrangler generations, listed in the Vehicle fitment section below.
Key features
- Custom designed to fit spare tires from 34 to 37 inches
- Tough diamond-point fabric construction
- Stores items outside the cabin and keeps passenger space open
- Fabric designed to match the Jeep top
Care and spare tire use
A spare tire organizer lives outside the cabin, so the fabric takes weather, dust and road spray. Regular brushing keeps grit from working into the weave, and a quick check of the fixings after rough trips helps keep the organizer snug on the tire carrier. Fabric that has been wet should dry fully before items are packed back inside.
Tire fit matters as much as the organizer itself. Check that your spare sits within the range this organizer is designed for, and consider the tire’s full diameter and width. If you carry a larger spare or change tire type, re-measure before reusing the organizer, since a loose fit can rub and wear the fabric over time.
- Brush off dirt regularly
- Check the spare tire fixings after rough trips
- Look for chafing where the fabric meets the carrier
- Dry the fabric fully before packing items away
