Overview
The ARB Heavy-duty Air Compressor for ARB Air Lockers (part number CKMA12) is an on-board air compressor kit that operates a single locker or a dual front and rear ARB locker system.
The kit is designed to run one air locker or two, and it can also supply air for other jobs, such as refilling a low tire. It has a die cast aluminum storage tank and oil-less operation, with the cut-off switch set at 100 psi.
The kit contains a pre-assembled compressor, a mounting clamp, a backing plate, a pressure switch, a wire loom and all mounting hardware, so no other parts are needed to mount it. Running and maintaining the compressor
An on-board compressor works hardest when a locker is being filled or a tire is being topped up, and heat builds during those periods. Give the unit room to breathe and avoid running it continuously. Let it cool between uses, and keep the mounting area free of mud and debris that can block airflow around the motor.
Wiring deserves careful attention. Use the wire loom and harness supplied, route cable away from heat and moving parts, and make sure the fusing suits the current draw. Check the hose, fittings and tank drain regularly, since moisture collecting in the tank can cause corrosion over time.

Installation notes
