Overview
The Warrior 1542 is a Hi-Lift jack hood hinge mount kit with black brackets and stainless steel hardware. The brackets attach to existing mount points on the hood hinges, so a Hi-Lift jack can be carried on the hood without drilling.
The kit adds replacement stainless mounting hardware and a Velcro strap that secures the jack handle to the body of the jack. Warrior says its testing with the strap showed no rattling at all.

Hood mount installation tips
A hood-mounted jack depends on the hinges to carry its weight, so the mount’s contact points should be checked before any load is placed on them. Look over the hood hinges for rust, cracks and worn mounting points. Make sure the hood opens and closes freely with the bracket in place before carrying a jack.
Stainless hardware resists corrosion, but it still needs routine checks, especially in wet or salty conditions. Tighten the bracket fasteners after the first few drives, then check them on a regular schedule. Keep the Velcro strap clean so it continues to hold the jack handle firmly.
