Overview
The Hi-Lift Jack Lift-Mate, model LM-100, is an accessory that gives a Hi-Lift jack a lifting point at most wheels, so you can raise one wheel without using the bumper. It makes lifting one wheel of most average-sized vehicles quick and easy.
Body styles, bumpers, larger tires and lift kits have made it harder to find a place to jack up a vehicle. The Lift-Mate addresses that by providing a wheel-based lifting point.

Lifting one wheel safely
Lifting from a wheel rather than the bumper is useful when bumpers, tire size or lift components leave no clean jacking point. The load is then carried through the wheel and its hub area, so the lift point must be sound and the ground under the jack must be firm. Take a moment to find the spot where the jack seats squarely before lifting.
Once the wheel is raised, support the vehicle on stands before anyone works underneath it. A jack alone should not be relied on to hold a vehicle. Lower the vehicle onto the stands slowly, and check that the stands sit on solid points of the frame.
Before a trip, inspect the Lift-Mate for bent or cracked sections, and keep the jack handle, pins and base together. Clean off mud and grit so the jack seats cleanly on the next use. Keep bystanders clear while the vehicle is raised.
