Choosing a halo projector
A halo ring is a decorative element that also sits inside the projector, so its LEDs and the main beam share one housing. That means a failed halo LED can look like a headlight problem even when the beam works. Check each side separately when diagnosing a dim or flickering light, and compare how both halos switch on.
Before you buy, think about how the set will be wired. Halo LEDs work best through a fused relay, which protects the switch and the factory harness from steady load. Pay attention to the mounting points and bumper clearance, since projector housings are deeper than many stock units.
