The Smittybilt Apollo Rear Fender Flare, part number 77836, is a tube-style rear flare for the rear left position. Rear flare clearance and wheel choice
The rear fenders see more spray and debris than the front, and a rear flare helps protect the body panel behind the tire. Wheel offset and tire width determine how much space there is between the tire and the flare edge, so it helps to check clearance with the rear suspension loaded and at full compression.
Because the rear flare is a single side, pairing it with the matching front flare keeps the look even. Tube flares work well with aftermarket wheels, but the inner edge of the wheel should be checked for rubbing when the tires are turned or the suspension articulates.
