Description

Overview

The Skyjacker R25-N is a front coil spring leveling kit fitted with Nitro shocks for the Ram 2500 and 3500. It provides a 2 to 2.5 inch lift through the front coil springs and lifts the front only.

The kit comes with coil springs, two spacers and complete installation instructions. It fits several trims of the 2013 to 2014 Ram 2500 and the 2013 to 2017 Ram 3500.

Key features

  • Nitro shocks
  • Coil spring leveling design
  • Coil springs included
  • Two steel spacers
  • Complete installation instructions included

Before you install

Coil spring leveling kits change the front spring rate and ride height, so the front suspension and steering geometry shift after installation. Plan for an alignment check and a headlight aim check once the front is set. Many installers also inspect brake hose length, sway bar links and upper control arm bushings while the front is open, since those parts are often reached during the same job.

Nitro shocks are matched to the new spring height, so they are a logical part of the same setup. Look for leaks, worn bushings and cracked spring seats during routine checks, and retighten fasteners after the first few highway and trail runs. A worn sway bar link or a tired shock on the opposite corner will change how the new setup drives, so inspect them together.

Questions & Answers

What makes the R25-N different from the R25-H and R25-M?

The R25-N comes with Nitro shocks, while the R25-H uses Hydro shocks and the R25-M uses M95 performance shocks. The lift and listed fitment are the same across the three.

Does the R25-N include coil springs?

Yes. The title and short description say the kit includes coil springs, along with two spacers. The R25-N comes with Nitro shocks, as stated in the title and short description.

Which Ram trucks does the R25-N fit?

The listed fitment covers the 2013 to 2014 Ram 2500 and 2013 to 2017 Ram 3500 in the trims named. Confirm your vehicle's year, model and trim before ordering.

Should the shocks be replaced at the same time as the leveling springs?

Not always. If the existing front shocks are worn, replacing them with the leveling kit gives a matched setup. Inspect them for leaks and fade before installing, and replace them in pairs so both front corners ride the same.
