Overview
The Rhino-Rack Batwing/Sunseeker 2.5m Awning Extension, part number RHO31101, adds a further 2m of shade to the Sunseeker 2.5 and Batwing awning range from Rhino-Rack USA. It zips onto the awning and can be secured to the ground with pegs or held up with its telescopic poles to open the extra shade.
The extension is made from the same rip-stop polycotton canvas Rhino-Rack uses across its awning products. The canvas is UV-protected, waterproof, mould resistant and rust proof, and the poles, ropes and pegs are all included along with a storage bag.

Keeping the awning and extension dry
Canvas awning extensions last longest when they are dried before storage. Mould can form in trapped moisture even on mould resistant canvas, so open the extension and let it dry completely after rain or dew. Shake out loose dirt and check the zip before folding, since grit in the zip makes it harder to attach the extension next time.
Store the poles separately from the canvas to avoid scuffs and bends. Keep the pegs and ropes together in the travel bag so nothing is lost at camp. Inspect the seams and attachment points at the start of each season, and repair small tears early before wind can enlarge them.
