Overview
The Power Stop S4890 is a front pair of powder-coated performance brake calipers for the 2006–2008 Dodge Ram 1500 and the 2003–2008 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500. The set holds one left caliper and one right caliper.
Power Stop makes the calipers with enthusiasts in mind and says they bolt in place of the stock front calipers. Caliper and bracket are remanufactured in the USA and finished in a high-temperature red powder coat. New premium boots and seals are installed, silicone lubricant that tolerates heat goes on the pins, and abutment clips are included where applicable. Heavy-duty Ram trucks that tow or plow load the front brakes hard, so a sticking caliper can quickly cause a pull to one side.

Vehicle fitment
Power Stop lists the S4890 for the 2006–2008 Dodge Ram 1500, the 2003–2008 Dodge Ram 2500 and the 2003–2008 Dodge Ram 3500.
The Ram 1500 range starts at 2006, so earlier 1500 trucks are not covered. Ram trucks from 2009 and newer are not listed either, and this is a front set only. Confirm your vehicle’s year, model and trim before ordering.
Installation notes
Power Stop says the S4890 calipers drop in where the stock calipers sat. Because these are heavy-duty applications, inspect the front brake hoses and rotors while the system is open, bleed the brakes, and confirm a firm pedal.
