Overview
The MagnaFlow 11219 is a satin stainless steel muffler with 3-inch centered inlet and outlet tubes and a straight-through design.
Lap-joint welds hold the case together, and a free-flowing perforated core runs through it. A stainless mesh wrap surrounds the core, and acoustical fiber fill is packed tightly to produce what MagnaFlow describes as a smooth, deep tone. The product carries a lifetime warranty.

Why tube size decides fit
Three-inch tubes leave little room for error, because even a small diameter difference can prevent a clean joint or create a gap. Measure the existing pipe at the connection point, not just at the tip, since diameter can change along a run. Also check how the new muffler’s centered connections sit against the old hangers so the pipe does not need to be forced into place.
Straight-through muffler designs keep a direct path, which gives a more open sound. If a quieter tone is the goal, factor in the whole system, since a resonator or a different case may suit better. Inspect welds and clamps each season, and listen for new rattles that could point to a loose connection or worn hanger.

Vehicle fitment
It is a universal fit with no vehicle, year or chassis named. A 3-inch tube must match your exhaust diameter exactly, so check your pipe and confirm fit for your vehicle’s year, model and trim before ordering.
