Overview
The EBC Brakes RK7131 is an Ultimax OE Style front disc kit for the 1997–1999 Ford F-250 and the 2000 Ford F-150. The kit uses plain, coated replacement rotors in EBC’s OE-style line.
EBC says Ultimax OE Style rotors are designed from superior G3000 gray iron and are precision-machined, balanced and individually runout inspected to avoid distortion out of the box.

Choosing replacement rotors
Front rotors wear a little with every stop. As the friction surface thins and develops grooves, pedal feel and braking noise change, so a worn rotor is often found during a pad job. Replacing rotors in pairs keeps braking even from side to side. Pads usually go in at the same time, since worn pads can leave uneven material on a new rotor face.
