Overview
The EBC Brakes 6000 Series Greenstuff DP61635 is a rear disc brake pad set for 2000–2006 full-size GM SUVs and trucks, including the Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban 1500, Silverado 1500 and Avalanche 1500, and the GMC Sierra 1500 and Yukon.
The 6000 Series is built for SUVs and full-size trucks, with very low dust for cleaner wheels. A green powder coat guards against rust, and the break-in material supports correct bedding, so the pad keeps wheels cleaner without giving up performance.

Care and maintenance
Rear pads on large SUVs carry less load than the front pads, but they still need regular checks. Look at the pad thickness through the wheel opening during tire rotations. Rear calipers often have a parking brake mechanism, so confirm that the parking brake still holds and that the mechanism moves freely after the new pads are installed.
A bed-in routine helps the new pads transfer an even layer of material onto the rotor. Make several moderate stops from moderate speed, then allow the brakes to cool. Avoid holding the brake pedal at a stop for long periods during the first drives, which can leave marks on the rotor.
