The Daystar KJ02011BK is a black polyurethane frame shackle bushing for front or rear leaf spring shackles. It is a direct fit upgrade over stock rubber bushings and allows less deflection while cornering.

Choosing bushing material
Frame shackle bushings sit at the ends of the spring shackles and control how the leaf spring moves relative to the frame. Rubber can soften, crack or compress over time, while polyurethane keeps its shape better under load, which tends to give a firmer, more direct response. Firmness is a trade-off, so a truck used mostly on pavement and a rig run on rough trails may want different bushing choices.
Polyurethane bushings generally need a compatible assembly lubricant on the sleeves during installation, because dry fits can squeak. Since this kit is non-greaseable, there is no grease fitting to maintain, and periodic inspection takes the place of routine service. Check the frame brackets for rust and make sure the shackle pins are straight before the bushings go in, since a bent pin can quickly damage a new sleeve.
