Overview
The Baja Designs LP9 Series Driving/Combo Lens Kit, part number BAJ668603, is a clear replacement lens for LP9 Series driving and combo lights. It suits owners whose original lens is broken or worn and who want a new clear lens without replacing the whole light.
The kit is described through the uService replacement program from Baja Designs, which names the lens and o-ring as the parts to replace. It has universal fitment, so the LP9 Series light model is what sets compatibility.
Key features
- Clear lens for LP9 Series driving and combo lights
- Covers replacement of the lens and o-ring
- Universal fitment, not tied to one vehicle
- Light series named as LP9 Series
Driving and combo light setup
Driving and combo lights use a lens built to spread light across the trail and the road ahead. Because the lens is the front barrier, the lens and o-ring are the parts most often replaced. Before fitting a new lens, make sure the housing is sound, the bulbs are secure and the wiring is undamaged.
Keep the light surface clean, since dirt on a driving lens cuts how much light reaches the road. Clear lenses show scratches quickly, so a soft cloth and mild soap are safer than gritty towels. If the lens becomes hazy after cleaning, plan a replacement rather than polishing it repeatedly.
- Confirm the housing is sound
- Check bulbs and wiring before fitting
- Clean with mild soap and a soft cloth
