Overview
The Titan Tanks 52 Gallon Extra Capacity Fuel Tank, part number 7010201, is an extra heavy duty replacement tank of cross-linked polyethylene from the Titan Super Series. It fits 2001–2010 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD and GMC Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 models, including 2007 Classic versions.
Titan promotes extra capacity tanks as a way to more than double range compared with the original tank. This kit includes the bracket, straps, vent hoses and valves needed to mount it.

Before you install
A replacement tank of this size changes how the fuel system breathes and drains, so the venting and connections deserve as much attention as the mounting straps. Vent lines that kink or sit below the tank can cause pressure problems and fuel smell, so route them with smooth bends and secure clamps.
Because the pump and sending unit are not part of this kit, check that your existing pump matches the new tank’s fuel level and connection points. Sending units that are worn can give misleading gauge readings after a tank swap, so test the gauge once the system is filled.
Rubber bushings and steel straps should be checked after the first few drives. Look for chafing where lines pass near the frame and for any signs that the tank has shifted under load.
