Overview
This synthetic winch rope is a 35 foot Dyneema SK-75 line for winches in the 4,000 lb class. It is lighter than steel cable, with a 19/64 inch diameter and a gray finish. It floats.
The rope will not kink, curl or splinter. It is UV stable and heat treated, and it comes with a protective sleeve, a stainless steel thimble and a safety hook with a connector link.

Synthetic rope maintenance
Synthetic line handles differently from steel cable. It is lighter to carry and easier to coil, but it can be damaged by sharp edges, abrasion and heat. Keep it off rough ground when you can, and run it over a smooth fairlead or roller so the fibers are not cut as the rope moves under load.
Good habits extend the life of the rope. Keep the drum clean and free of grit, use the sleeve every time, and check the thimble and hook before each pull. Inspect the full length of the rope, including the section that wraps the drum, because that is where wear tends to build up.
