Two-door bowless top setup
Two-door Wrangler JK bodies have a shorter roof span, which makes a bowless top easier to keep tight across the roll bar. A bowless design depends on the roll bar for its shape, so inspect the bar padding and contact points before each season. Keep the top free of grit when folding it, since sand can wear the fabric where it rubs against the roll bar.
Converting to a summer brief means folding the side and rear windows into their storage folds. Roll the window film loosely rather than creasing it, and keep the glass clean before storing. Sailcloth holds up best when it is aired out after wet trails and kept out of long hours of direct sun.
