Summer setup and maintenance
A Black Diamond cover is intended as a summer accessory, which means it spends long periods exposed to sun and heat. Keep the fabric clean and dry, and avoid storing it folded while damp. Sun can soften stitching over time, so inspect seams after hot months before the next season begins.
The soft top hardware and factory belt rail carry the cover’s attachment points. Look for worn grommets, bent hooks and corrosion on steel parts whenever the cover comes off. Replace damaged hardware before refitting, since weak points can let the cover shift on the sport bar.
A front zipper is useful only when a separate wind product is attached. If you use the cover alone, keep the zipper closed and clean so grit does not lodge in the teeth. Lightly lubricate the teeth with a dry product designed for zippers if they become stiff.

Vehicle fitment
It fits the 1997-2002 Jeep Wrangler (TJ) in the SE, Sahara, Sport and X trims. It is not made for hardtop-only vehicles from 87-06, and the 2003-2006 Wrangler TJ, 2004-2006 Wrangler LJ and JK generations are not covered.
