Description

Overview

The Go Rhino Center Hood Mount for 3-inch Cube Lights (part ORP732230T) is a black steel mount for one 3 x 3 inch cube light at the center of the hood. It fits 2018–2019 and 2021–2026 Jeep Wrangler JL and JLU, and two mounting brackets are included.

The mount is 3/16 inch cold rolled steel with a black textured powder coat. It can be placed on the hood hinge, lower A-pillar, upper cowl, hood clamp or hard top. The cube light itself is sold separately.

Key features

  • Single 3 x 3 inch cube light mount for the center of the hood
  • Two mounting brackets included
  • 3/16 inch cold rolled steel with black textured powder coat
  • Described by Go Rhino as low profile
  • Installs with no cutting or drilling, per Go Rhino

Cube light selection

A single cube light suits a center hood position because it is easy to aim and keeps the view forward open. Pick a spot or combo beam depending on the trail. Spot beams reach farther down a track, while combo beams spread light to the sides, which helps on tight trails where the edges matter.

The two included brackets hold the cube to the mount, so check that the cube’s mounting holes match the bracket layout before purchase. Tighten the bracket bolts evenly and check that the cube sits level once the hood is closed, because a tilted cube throws its beam at the wrong height.

Cubes sit close to the hood, so they collect road grit and wash spray. Wipe the lens after mud runs and check the seal around the housing for cracks. Fused relay wiring protects the battery and keeps the switch circuit clean, and it is worth routing the wire away from the hood latch.
