Description

Overview

Part number FFIFB21-X5250-1 is a matte black steel full guard front bumper for 2021–2022 Ford Bronco trucks. It is available in the Badlands, Base, Big Bend, Black Diamond, First Edition, Outer Banks and Wildtrak trims.

Fab Fours built the Matrix from its Premium Winch Bumper and Vengeance Series to make a slim steel front end. This Bronco version is set up for a 20-inch single-row light bar, four 3×3 LED cube lights and a WARN VR EVO 10 or smaller winch.

Key features

  • Full guard styling in matte black steel
  • Ready for a 20-inch single-row light bar
  • Room for four 3×3 LED cube lights
  • Winch mount compatible, for a WARN VR EVO 10 or smaller winch
  • Full-width, direct-fit front bumper

Full guard care on trail

A full guard shields the front face from rock strikes and brush, but it also collects mud and debris in the lower openings. Clear packed mud after trail runs so cooling airflow and the sensors behind the bumper are not blocked. A full guard also changes approach angles, so plan lines with the bumper’s lower edge in mind.

Full guards take impact well, but dents and scratches can hide small cracks in the steel. Look over the welds and mounts after hard hits. Touch up exposed metal with paint to slow rust, and tighten any bolts that have loosened from vibration.

  • Clear mud from lower openings after trail use
  • Inspect welds and mounts after rock strikes
  • Touch up chipped paint on exposed steel
  • Check sensor clearance after any install work

Questions & Answers

Does the FFIFB21-X5250-1 full guard bumper fit a 2022 Bronco?

Yes. It is a direct fit for 2021–2022 Ford Bronco trucks, so a 2022 model is covered. Confirm your trim before ordering to make sure it matches your vehicle.

What size light bar does this Bronco bumper take?

It is ready for a 20-inch single-row light bar with four 3x3 LED cube lights. The lights are not included, so choose a light bar that matches the 20-inch mounting size.

Can I use a larger winch on this bumper?

No. The bumper is sized for a WARN VR EVO 10 or smaller winch, so a larger winch falls outside its design. Confirm the winch size and mount pattern before buying a different unit.

Does a full guard affect how the Bronco handles?

Yes, added weight at the front can change steering feel and braking distance. Plan for that change, check tire wear after the first few drives, and keep the guard firmly mounted so it does not shift on rough ground.
