Overview
The Crown Automotive J0932295 is a felt seal for the front or rear yoke of a Dana 18 transfer case, and two are needed.
The seal is a felt washer. It fits the early Jeep CJ3, CJ5 and CJ6 models, the FC150 and FC170, and the Willys CJ-2, CJ-3, CJ-5 and CJ-6, from 1946 through 1971.

Transfer case seal care
A felt seal around a yoke holds lubricant in the transfer case while letting the shaft turn. Felt absorbs oil, so it works best when the case is kept at the correct fill level and the yoke surface is smooth. Leaks at the yokes often trace back to worn felt, a grooved yoke, or a case that has been overfilled, and the leak tends to get worse over time.
When replacing the seal, clean the seal bore and check the yoke for grooves or ridges before pressing in the new felt. A rough yoke wears a new seal quickly. Wipe away any old lubricant so the new seal starts clean, and check the transfer case for other leaks at the same time.
